Government Websites
- The National Health and Medical Research Council have information about the Dietary Guidelines for all Australians including children and adolescents, adults, older people and infants. All of the publications on the website are also available for order free of charge. To order the publications, organisations and individuals can email National Mailing and Marketing, call (02) 6269 1000, or write to PO Box 7077, Canberra BC ACT 2610.
- ACT Health's Nutrition and Dietetics webpage has a range of nutrition resources on topics including pregnancy and breastfeeding, young children and school nutrition. You can also order these resources from ACT Health by downloading and completing their Order Form (Word document: 115KB). Organisations and individuals can also request nutrition involvement with a project that they are developing or working on using their Request Form (pdf: 26KB).
- The Go for 2 & 5® Campaign encourages people to consume 2 pieces of fruit and 5 pieces of vegetable every day. The campaign has been implemented across Australia. There is also specific information about the ACT Go for 2 & 5® Campaign. Resources for the Go for 2 & 5® Campaign can also be ordered from ACT Health by submitting an Order Form (Word document: 1MB).
- Health Insite has information on a range of health related topics including nutrition and food safety.

- Nutrition Australia provides nutrition information to encourage individuals to live healthy lifestyles. The website has a range of resources and information about events and seminars run by Nutrition Australia. You can also view informaion about the ACT branch of Nutrition Australia. Nutrition Australia has developed a range of resources relating to nutrition, food safety, physical activity, meal planning and budgeting. These resources can be ordered from Nutrition Australia with using their Order Form (pdf: 782KB).
- Food Bank collects surplus food donated from the food and grocery industry and distributes it to community and welfare organisations.
