BACKGROUND/ISSUES
The staff working group on quality standards has now progressed to the section of Raising the Standard on "Safety and the Office Environment". This standard examines safety and security, and the productive work environment.
The working group is consulting with staff and is intending to complete this section by mid May.
After 2 months of intensive consultation and investigation the working group completed the section on Human Resource Management, with assistance from the Vice President, the outcomes from this section are attached for the interest of board members.
