Human Rights Practice

Human Rights are a basic acknowledgement of respect for people, regardless of their background, circustances, history or behaviour. Being the first jurisdiction in Australia to introduce a Bill of Rights, the ACT has a high awareness of human rights, and it is useful for community organisations to look at ways to incorporate human rights thinking into their systems and service delivery.
