ACTCOSS provides a range of services to community and commercial organisations for a small fee, including promotional opportunities through our member fax-stream and newsletter advertising, as well as allowing hiring of our meeting room. ACTCOSS also provides limited equipment loans to ACTCOSS members, subject to availability. Fax-stream service
ACTCOSS has a fax list of all our member organisations with access to fax facilities, and regularly sends out a community sector fax-stream alerting organisations to opportunities. The fax-stream often includes information and flyers on seminars, training, events, employment opportunities and commercial services for not-for-profit organisations. ACTCOSS compiles a quarterly newsletter and regularly mails out information to our members and stakeholders. Our newsletter has a circulation of around 400 community organisations, government officials and members of the public, and has a substantial base of contributors. ACTCOSS is pleased to offer advertising space in the newsletter, or can include your flyer as an insert with the mail-out. ACTCOSS has a stylish meeting room, complete with boardroom table, electronic whiteboard and kitchenette facilities. The room is available for hire subject to availability. For room bookings, please contact us through our Office Co-ordinator.Photocopying
In recognition that many small organisations need access to a photocopier for their meetings and events, ACTCOSS is happy to make its photocopier available for a small fee. Please contact us through our Office Co-ordinator to arrange a time to use the photocopier.Equipment hire
ACTCOSS maintains a range of equipment, which can be made available for hire. Equipment includes laptop computers, light projectors, projector screens, digital camera, loudspeaker and overhead projector. Please note that this service is only available to ACTCOSS member organisations. This service is provided on the condition that if any negligent or malicious damage is inflicted upon the equipment the hirer is liable for the repair costs or 50% of the replacement cost. Equipment not returned on-time will be charged additional hire time. For more information, or to book equipment for hire, please contact us through our Office Co-ordinator.
