ACTCOSS is hosting an Aboriginal Art Workshop event at Burrunju Aboriginal Art Gallery

Session 1 – limit of 10 participants: 12.00pm – 1.30pm

Session 2 – limit of 10 participants: 2.00pm – 3.30pm

The ACT Council of Social Service is hosting an Aboriginal Art Workshop event at Burrunju Aboriginal Art Gallery, situated within the Yarramundi Cultural Centre (previously known as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre).

Participants will contribute toward creating Aboriginal art on canvas. The workshop will show participants how to create a design of traditional Aboriginal artwork where each participant will be putting their hand-prints on the painting plus painting dots and lines on the canvas. In the workshop the artists will discuss the meanings of various symbols used in Aboriginal paintings.

REGISTRATION: The cost is $70/person. Please consider registering early for this event. The ticket price recovers the cost to run this workshop.
