ACTCOSS Governance workshops are designed to meet the needs of people interested in, or who have recently been, appointed to a board member position with a not-for-profit organisation in the ACT. This training targets people who have never been on a board or who have limited experience on boards. The workshops are interactive with participants contributing their own experiences and sharing knowledge, as well as a networking opportunity.
This workshop will be broken into two parts – the afternoon session focuses on financial management with the morning session focusing on board governance and strategy. Workbooks and resources will be provided to participants at both sessions. Participants are welcome to come to either session, or the whole day.
