Woden Community Service hosts these quarterly forums, which are aimed at professionals working in community services and related sectors. Two organisations will provide an overview of their services and programs and take questions from attendees.
Session dates and focus organisations
- Thursday 16 May 2019: Woden Community Service – Mental Health services & Kippax Connections
Pam Boyer and Sophie Mayer will join the forum to discuss a range of mental health programs that Woden Community Service deliver, including their new program ‘New Path’. New Path is a mental health recovery program supporting people whose ability to manage daily activities and to live independently in the community has been seriously affected by mental health issues. New Path works with people not eligible for the NDIS of for whom the NDIS is not the most appropriate pathway.
Kippax Connections is an individual tailored support program connecting participants across the ACT and surrounds to vocational education, training and employment opportunities.
