Participants must attend all three workshops.
Workshop 1: Wednesday 22 March, 10am-4pm - Program Logic
Workshop 2: Wednesday 5 April, 10am-1pm - Outcomes
Workshop 3: Wednesday 27 April, 10am-1pm – Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks
Develop your skills and understanding around program logics, program outcomes, monitoring and evaluation.
Do you want to build your monitoring and evaluation capacity? Undertaking the Better Monitoring and Evaluation: Program Logics, Program Outcomes workshops will give you the understanding and the tools to develop, clarify the purpose, activities, processes, and outcomes of your programs.
The Better Monitoring and Evaluation: Program Logics, Program Outcomes workshops will build the foundation for program monitoring and evaluation with evidence frameworks, evidence based and best practice principles.
The Better Monitoring and Evaluation: Program Logics, Program Outcomes workshops will support organisations clarify, identify and develop a shared understanding of program/s. They will also show how these processes and frameworks provide an evidence-based platform for further and or expanded funding submissions.
There are three Better Monitoring and Evaluation: Program Logics, Program Outcomes workshops with each workshop focusing on building, identifying and developing the skills to develop your own Service Improvement Plan-Program Logic.
Workshop 1. What is a Program Logic? Identifying the purpose and activities of program/s through a systematic and structured approach and analysis. This workshop will identify the how, who, why, what, when of your program/s activities.
Workshop 2. This workshop will identify the intended Outcomes in your service. What outcomes do you expect to see from a client engaging in your service? What changes do you expect to occur from a client being engaged with your service? How can you capture these outcomes to better demonstrate the value of your service which can be used for funding and or ongoing program monitoring and evaluation.
Workshop 3. Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks. The Monitoring and Evaluation workshop will assist you in developing a robust checklist for monitoring evaluation including KPI’s, data sources, collection methods and program activities. Data collection and reporting is an excellent investment ensuring the work and outcomes you are achieving are represented and advocated.
Workshop Registration
There are limited spaces for these workshops and to ensure the maximum benefit is achieved you will need to commit to all three workshops. We recommend that you attend these workshops if you are a manager, team leader, have funding reporting and or evaluation responsibilities within your position/organisation. Delivered by the Youth Coalition of the ACT and ACTCOSS, these workshops are being offered free of charge and offer the opportunity to further strengthen, invest and support your programs but most importantly client experience.
