The Housing and Homelessness Policy Consortium, a partnership between ACTCOSS, ACT Shelter, the Women’s Centre for Health Matters and the Youth Coalition of the ACT, have released reports and snapshots from Projects 2 and 3.
The research provides:
- Analysis of the findings from a survey of 1000 Canberra households we commissioned Newspoll to undertake on housing costs, their impact on household budgets and compromises people are making in order to pay the rent/mortgage
- An examination of the social and economic impacts of housing affordability in the ACT and its interaction with the labour market
- Demographic and economic modelling of future housing demand in the ACT.
