In this submission to the Blueprint for Youth Justice in the ACT, ACTCOSS recommends:
- more of a targeted approach to reducing the number of young people engaging in the youth justice system through the development of a Justice Reinvestment model
- adequate resourcing for community service providers as an important tool in providing support to young people
- ongoing, meaningful engagement around the implementation of the Blueprint with the people on whom it will make the most impact - young people themselves.
