Toora Women Inc. has a fantastic executive job opportunity in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

We are seeking to add exceptional leadership within the corporate space, with an emphasis on change, transformation, and organizational excellence. 

This role could be suited to someone with accountancy and strong financial experience or finance knowledge, and strong experience in leading corporate functions. 

About the role:

Permanent full-time position under Service Agreement. Competitive salary and conditions + Salary sacrifice.  Salary by negotiation based on skills.

Toora Women Inc. supports women with complex issues who have experienced past or present traumas such as:

  • The impact of their own or another’s drug and alcohol use
  • Domestic, family and sexual violence
  • Mental health issues
  • Homelessness or needing support to stay out of the homelessness system; and / or
  • ACT corrections or needing support to stay out of the system.

Summary of broad purpose of the position

The primary purpose of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is to provide pro-active strategic stewardship of Toora Women corporate team, including outsourced property management, governance and risk, marketing and communications, finance, people change and culture. 

The COO is to continuously improve business and administration processes to maximise revenue generation and retention, cost efficiency and growth across all Toora services, as well as performance of the corporate functions of Toora to ensure high level service provision to clients and Toora service delivery teams.

Depending on the skill set of the successful applicant the COO will either work alongside the Finance team or be accountable for the finance and accounting operations of the organisation.
