School Age Care Educators - Belconnen Community Service

BCS is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work across our Before and After School Care programs in both casual and part time roles.

We have a number of positions available across our Before and After School care programs working with primary aged children. Duties include:

  • Creating a fun, safe and engaging environment for Children.
  • Aligning to Belconnen Community Service values of respect, integrity, optimism, stewardship, inclusion.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of exciting and innovative program.
  • Maintaining excellent supervision and safety for all children within the program.

A typical day will see you working with the team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children who attend our services. This involves implementing a variety of activities and programs, setting up indoor and outdoor equipment, cleaning and food preparation and overall supervision of children.

You will be currently studying or have already obtained your Diploma of Children's Services. You must also have a current Working with Vulnerable People registration and it is desirable you have experience working with children.

Hours and shifts are flexible with an hourly rate starting from $26.50 depending on the qualifications and experience.
