In this Attachment D, it sets out a proposal for a future research tool for the ACT Community Services Industry snapshot. The purpose of the snapshot is to capture information about the current state of the ACT Community Services Industry workforce, set trajectories, and measure progress against Industry wide goals and plans such as the ACT Community Services Industry Strategy 2016-2026. It also includes draft questionnaires to help capture this snapshot tailored for organisations, paid individuals, and volunteers.

In this Attachment A - Appendix 1, 2, and 3, a more comprehensive assessment of the needs of three target groups is presented. These cohorts: children, young people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have been selected as groups that could benefit greatly from early support. At the end of each appendix, we highlight a summary of opportunities where the ACT Community Services Industry could improve outcomes for target group.
The Workforce Data and Community Needs Analysis seeks to describe the current ACT community services industry workforce, project growth, diversity, skill and knowledge needs into the future, to best meet the needs of the ACT community. The project’s overall goal was to assist the industry to ensure that future workforce development effectively meets emerging community needs.
The Emerging Leaders’ Framework is better practice guide to identifying and developing emerging leaders within the ACT Community Services Industry.
